HOW TO FORMALLY CLOSE AND SELL BUSINESS IN 7 STEPS

Image
Hi There, It had been 45 years since I had been running my business. Naturally, it was time to retire and sell the entity for a profit. I wanted to get a good price for all the hard work, tears and sweat that went into the business. It was not easy to say goodbye, but we managed to pull through that phase. I prepared my employees for the transition and everyone obliged. The documentation work took lesser time as we had everything up to date. The only challenge was finding the right buyer and we screened a lot of people before going ahead. Here is an article that can help you if you are planning to do the same.       https://www.business2sell.com.au/blogs/selling/how-to-formally-close-and-sell-business-in-7-steps

International borders will remain closed for at least another three months despite more than 40,000 Australians who remain stranded across the globe due to COVID-19. The latest extension means Australia's borders will have been closed to the world for 15 months. Health Minister Greg Hunt yesterday confirmed the three month extension to the existing emergency period would be granted following advice from the Australian Health Protection Principle Committee (AHPPC) and the Commonwealth Chief Medical Officer, Professor Paul Kelly.  https://www.9news.com.au/national/coronavirus-international-border-ban-extended-until-june-thousands-stranded-overseas/104d4a3b-6483-4f14-9677-8c426504b7d8

International education is at breaking point and we need a national approach to temporary and permanent immigration to prevent this $40 billion industry from falling over. And as universities gear up for another academic year, nothing has changed for the international education sector. The federal government has still not announced a timeline for the return of international students and there are no pilot programs approved yet for 2021 to bring international students in to Australia.  https://thepienews.com/the-view-from/fortress-australia-needs-open-doors-international-students/
