 The coronavirus pandemic has failed to quell momentum at Perth's most desirable hotel destination.


COMO The Treasury used the health crisis to fine-tune several aspects of its offering and open a new underground cocktail bar, Pooles Temple, while it was closed, and on Wednesday was voted best hotel in the Australia Pacific region for a fourth time by the world's most elite travel magazine Condé Nast Traveler.

Port Denison residents consider legal action over ongoing power network failures

 Residents of a regional West Australian community are threatening legal action against Western Power as ongoing outages bring more than a decade of frustration to a boiling point. Located about 350 kilometres north of Perth, Port Denison and Dongara are at the end of a long feeder line from Geraldton. Infrastructure supplying power to the towns is spread out across a wide area and is exposed to the elements. Finbar Group completes AT238 tower, ramps up $677m in projects amid Perth’s housing crisis

 Prolific West Australian apartment developer Finbar Group (ASX: FRI) has achieved practical completion of its latest project, the $100 million AT238 located in Perth’s CBD amid reports that the city is facing one of the most acute housing shortages of any capital in the country. The 32-level mixed-use development, which comprises 119 residential apartments plus two ground-floor commercial lots, has so far achieved 66 sales valued at $46.25 million. These sales are due to start settling in mid-April. However, Finbar Group is expecting the project to be sold out before the end of this year now that the it is completed.
